Pope Leo the XIV has pledged the Vatican’s solidarity with the Sri Lankan people who were affected by the recent disaster, Charge’ d’Affaires of the Vatican Embassy in Colombo Rev. Monsignor Roberto Lucchini revealed today.
Rev. Lucchini revealed that Pope Leo had informed him to convey his condolences to the disaster affected people in Sri Lanka and had pledged his solidarity with Sri Lanka at this difficult moment.
“The Pope has requested the Sri Lankan people to act in faith and hope in their efforts to rebuild the nation during this post disaster situation,” he added.(DAILY MIRROR LK NEWS)
