Election complaints reach total of over 5200 – EC
The Election Commission (EC) has received a total of 269 election related complaints within the past 24 hours that ended at 4.30 p.m. yesterday (19).
Accordingly, the total number of complaints from 31 July to yesterday pertaining to the 2024 presidential election has surged up to 5214.
Of these complaints, it is worth noting that a majority of 5071 complaints have been filed over election law violations.
EC has also received 34 complaints on acts of violence and 109 other complaints.
