Some 712 politicians have taken over lands in Nuwara Wewa reserves

Colombo, May 21 (Daily Mirror) – Some 712 politicians have taken over lands belonging to the Nuwara Wewa reserve in Anuradhapura and had constructed houses and hotels with swimming pools, Deputy Minister Susil Ranasinghe told Parliament today.
He said taking over such lands have become a political game lately.
The Deputy Minister said some Ministers in the previous government have also engaged in this game.
