The Department of Motor Traffic on Friday issued official registration number plates to the first Sri Lankan-made electric car and electric three-wheeler. Transport, Highways and Mass Media Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardena and Plantation Industry Minister Dr. Ramesh Pathirana were present.
Here the electric vehicle manufacturer Vega Innovations’ Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Harsha Subasinghe receives the registration number plates for the vehicle. Motor Traffic Commissioner General Nishantha Anuruddha looks on.
